Growing up, I often watched my grandmother (Oma) preparing her beauty regiment in the kitchen. Although, I did not understand why she smeared oatmeal, etc. all over her face. Her daily ritual was exciting for me to watch and eventually, I was allowed to cover my face with all kinds of cooking ingredients. I loved it. These masquerades were the highlight of my days. When I learned to write my study hours were filled with the transcription of these beauty formulas. Eventually, my notebook was filled. I still have this notebook, and I want to share some of her recipes with you. Possibly, you might think that these old methods and recipes are passé, but you are wrong. Many of these secrets are being used in today’s beauty products. Sadly, in today’s production, some of the ingredients are being substituted with harmful and dangerous preservatives.

If  you like to stop wrinkles, have youthful, beautiful skin, try some of these secret recipes. All you need to do is to investigate your pantry, and you might find everything you need.

 There is one useful step you can do. Whenever you crack an egg use some of the egg white left in the egg shell and spread it around your eyes and lips. Easy, peasy, but very effective. Actually, I covered my whole face and for my age, I have exceptional skin.

Why does egg white promote youthful skin?

Egg whites are rich in protein and albumin and have skin toning properties that promote wrinkle-free skin. They are especially helpful for oily skin and hair since they help tighten large pores and hair follicles that secrete too much sebum.

Anti-wrinkle Mask:

  • Mix tomato juice with Crème Fraîche
  • Apply to your face
  • Let dry for
  • 20 minutes or more
  • Wash off with lukewarm water

You may use this mask daily. Great for aging skin and anti-wrinkle issues.
